Coronavirus COVID-19 Update

As our community joins those around the world coping with the challenge of Coronavirus (COVID-19), York Fine Arts would like to reassure our clients and staff by addressing the issue and identifying the steps we are taking to keep people safe, happy and healthy, all while delivering the highest standards of service.

As a family business, the welfare of our community, clients, staff and their families is our highest priority. As such, we have made the decision to close both our York and Harrogate galleries to the public until Monday, 15th of June 2020. Until then, our website and online ordering system will remain live and open for business, so you may continue to browse and buy from our website.

In preparation for our re-opening, our staff are working very hard to take necessary precautions and adapt our services so we may continue to deliver the joy of fine art and the highest standards of client care throughout this period of uncertainty. We have outlined these changes here:

 

Contact

All communication channels remain open, including email and telephone lines, which have been temporarily diverted to accommodate safe home working for our staff. So should you wish to get in touch, please telephone our York gallery on 01904 634221 or email info@yorkfinearts.co.uk.

Home Viewings

The gallery has now resumed contact-free home viewings, allowing our clients to view artwork from our expansive collection from the comfort and safety of their own homes. 

Deliveries

Postal deliveries and contact-free deliveries by hand for purchases from our website are still available. However, please note that while we will do our very best to deliver purchases as soon as possible, delivery times may be slightly longer than those stated on our website. But as always, a member of staff will be in touch to provide tracking details once the parcel has been booked for collection so you may monitor the progress of the shipment.

Restorations

The gallery has now resumed its restoration service. 

Should you wish to receive a free, no-obligation quote for a future restoration, these may now be provided by email from a series of specified photographs. We will also be offering collections and deliveries upon request. Please contact the gallery for more information.

 

We will continue to closely monitor the situation as it develops and follow government advice to ensure we protect our clients and staff and take care of each other when we need it most. Should any additional changes not outlined above occur, we will update this page.
