Plums and Red Original painting

With a bold, uncluttered composition, heightened by a striking expanse of negative space. Colin Wilson’s Plums and Red is a contemporary masterclass in form and balance. Over time, the painting begins to unfurl before us, with delicate, sumptuous details slowly emerging. The fine curve of the wine glass, the precarious resting of the corkscrew against the empty emerald bottle, the juicy, exposed flesh of a freshly cut plum. It is a tantalizing scene, brimming with anticipation.
