In the Beginning II Sculpture

Gallery Assistant Kirsty Maclennan says:

“Like a being from another world, I see Leon’s melancholic, evocative form as an individual in search of something, scouring desolate landscapes and frozen tundra. For all he is alone, there is something playful beneath the surface, something kind and gentle. I find this piece very touching. It has a transient, intangible quality that compels you to look and look again.”
