Description
Recently acquired by York Fine Arts, Bowl of Strawberries is an exquisite study by one of the UK’s leading still life artists. With an elegant composition, the freshly-washed ruby fruits glisten in their delft blue bowl. A shimmering water droplet draws the eye to the tarnished table-top, giving a sense of balance to the scene.
