An introduction to the painting from the artist, Andrew Talbot: "The idea for this painting began with a small box of ivory and gold truffles I found in Harrods of London. There was something quietly luxurious about them, and they reminded me of simple, thoughtful gestures of love. I paired them with ivory roses, still waiting to be arranged, and placed everything on a polished mahogany table beside a pair of gold and pearl earrings. I wanted to create a gentle, romantic atmosphere, something that felt personal and nostalgic rather than grand. The soft light links each element through the subtle curve of the wood, forming a quiet balance between memory, beauty, and affection"
