York Fine Arts is delighted to announce that the gallery is now a proud member of the Own Art scheme. Committed to helping more people live with the art they love, Own Art offers interest free loans that allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 10 months, making the process of buying fine art easier and more affordable than ever.
A Creative United initiative supported by Arts Council England, Own Art allows you to borrow from as little as £100 up to a maximum of £2,500 for the purchase of works of art by living artists. In addition to Own Art, York Fine Arts is also proud to offer Own Art Plus, which gives an even greater scope of choice by offering interest-free loans for purchases between £2,500 and £25,000 by artists born after 1900.
The benefits of the Own Art and Own Art Plus schemes are many; but perhaps one of the most exciting attributes is the fact that that once approved, you can take your artwork home then and there, with or without a deposit. If you wish to make a deposit to reduce the amount of your monthly payment, you are more than welcome to do so; otherwise, your first payment will be debited from your account around four weeks after the date on which you signed the agreement.

We will then walk you through the loan application process, which usually takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
