Michael John Ashcroft Selected for the New Light Prize Exhibition
Posted by Deanna Dawkins / Sunday 20th of September, 2015
York Fine Arts is thrilled to announce that Michael John Ashcroft has been selected to exhibit at the prestigious New Light Prize Exhibition 2015. Michael's ‘Oxford Place, Manchester’ was selected as one of only 84 pieces from over 2,000 entries.
The exhibition recognises and celebrates Northern artists and the high quality of art currently being created in the North. From his edgy, uban cityscapes to his sprawling Northern landscapes, Michael's work could not be any more well suited for such an honour.
The exhibition opens at the Bowes Museum on Saturday, the 17th of October and runs until Sunday, the 7th of February. It will then tour to the Mercer Art Gallery in Harrogate from the 17th of February until the 12th of June. The exhibition will finally finish in London from the 28th of June until the 2nd July 2016.
