Summer has arrived, and with it, a bright and seasonal collection of new artwork worthy of these long, luxurious days in the sun. Here at the gallery, things are equally heating up as we ambitiously deliver back-to-back exhibitions from some of the gallery’s most collectible artists, including the highly anticipated solo exhibition of Yorkshire Artist Clare Haley. Ever eager to match the atmosphere of excitement and plenty that thrums around us, we look forward to sharing our latest updates with you all.
After a fantastic opening, our Summer Exhibition is now in full swing, bringing a new burst of energy to the gallery. Featuring the work of Marissa Weatherhead, Michael John Ashcroft, ROI, David Sawyer, RBA, Dianne Flynn and Philip Hearsey, the exhibition dives into the myriad delights of the summer experience. From far flung explorations to unhurried moments closer to home, moments of stillness and ease are balanced with an invigorating sense of vitality. Brimming with abundance, adventure and colour, the exhibition offers a contemplative escape to soak up the simple pleasures of the season. The exhibition will be available to view until 19 July in the gallery and on our website.
After months of growing excitement, Yorkshire artist Clare Haley is soon to unveil her latest collection of paintings for her 11th annual solo show, opening 31 July. From gentle green dales to wild, stormy skies, year after year, Clare never ceases to reveal new truths of landscape and light in her paintings, each collection more dynamic than the last. This year’s exhibition will also include one of her coveted circular paintings, a brand new signed limited edition print and a collection of six smaller 16” x 12” paintings based on different times of day, priced at just £695 each. In what has grown to become one of the gallery’s most popular and anticipated shows of the year, collectors old and new are once again invited to roam and lose themselves in the untamed beauty of nature’s panoramas.
Preview catalogues will be released a few days before the show’s opening, with all paintings available for purchase upon receipt of the catalogue. Even working in the field we do, the resounding power of fine art and its ability to stop us in our tracks never fails to amaze us.
